About Us

About the California Sex Offender Atonement Project

The California Sex Offender Atonement Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healing, justice, and restoration for survivors of sexual abuse. Our mission is to provide access to quality therapy and support to those who have suffered the trauma of sexual abuse, while also working towards creating a culture of accountability and atonement for sex offenders.

We believe that every survivor of sexual abuse deserves the right to access effective, evidence-based therapy and support, regardless of their financial means. We work with a network of qualified therapists to provide individualized, trauma-informed care that is tailored to each survivor’s unique needs and circumstances.

At the same time, we recognize that true atonement requires more than just punishment – it requires active engagement in repairing the harm done. That’s why we’ve created a unique funding model that sources resources from sex offenders to pay for the therapy costs of their victims. By doing so, we hope to create a culture of accountability where sex offenders take responsibility for their actions and actively work to repair the harm they have caused.

Our vision is to build a society where survivors of sexual abuse are supported on their journey towards healing, and where sex offenders take responsibility for repairing the harm they have caused. We also recognize that healing from sexual abuse is a long and challenging process, and that survivors need a community of support to help them along the way. That’s why we encourage the general public to donate to our cause, creating a network of support that brings together both those who have been victimized and those who have caused the harm.

By supporting the California Sex Offender Atonement Project, you can help us build a society where survivors of sexual abuse are supported and empowered, and where sex offenders take responsibility for their actions.

Thank you for joining us in this important work.

The California Sex Offender Atonement Project is committed to promoting healing, justice, and restoration for survivors of sexual abuse. We believe that every survivor has the right to access quality therapy and support, regardless of their financial circumstances.
  • At the same time, we recognize that true atonement requires more than just punishment – it requires active engagement in repairing the harm done. Our mission is to create a culture of accountability, where sex offenders take responsibility for the harm they have caused and actively work to repair that harm.

  • Through our unique funding model, we seek to source resources from both sex offenders and the general public to cover the costs of therapy for survivors of sexual abuse. This approach creates a pattern of healing that brings together both those who have been victimized and those who have caused the harm.

  • Our ultimate goal is to create a more just and compassionate society, where all members take responsibility for repairing the harm they have caused. We believe that through our work, we can create a world where survivors of sexual abuse can access the support and healing they need, and where sex offenders can make amends for the harm they have caused.

Join us in our mission to promote healing and atonement for survivors of sexual abuse. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
